Ars Nova de Audiation - Training Sessions
TRAINING SESSIONS VIDEOS
Training session videos are now being offered for Ars Nova de Audiation resources. The videos will address the sequence of resources, pit falls to avoid, and how to begin the reading process with students. The training sessions will last approximately 90 minutes, and are divided into two parts.

- Introduction to the Ars Nova de Audiation website resources and Facebook Group
- Learning Sequence Activities (LSA) Tonal Patterns and Rhythm Patterns, what these patterns are based upon and how they are organized
- LSA Videos - Tonal Videos and Rhythm Videos for Students’ use
- Steps in approaching Symbolic Association (Reading) and Composite Synthesis (Reading)
- Major and minor tonalities - tonic and dominant tonal patterns
- Duple and Triple meter - Macrobeat/microbeat to Division/Elongation patterns

Training Session Video Part 2:
Since Part 2 is a continuation of Part 1, Part 1 should be attended before attending Part 2. Part 2 will cover the following topics:

- Writing Tonal Patterns (Symbolic Association - writing and Composite Synthesis - Writing)
- Reading Familiar Music
- Reading and Writing Melodic Patterns
- Reading Unfamiliar (new) pieces

- Members/Subscribed Teachers of Ars Nova de Audiation - no fee; as this is part of your subscription
- Non-members of Ars Nova de Audiation: $20.00 USD* which includes links to both Part 1 and Part 2 Training Sessions Videos. If a subscription is purchased within 14 days of attending Training Session Part 1, then the $20.00 can be applied as a credit to the overall subscription fee.
